Our Covid-19 Policies
While a welcoming and relaxing stay is always our goal, currently we are extremely mindful of the world wide focus on COVID-19. The virus is still active in New York State. To help prevent the spread, we are encouraging all guests to visit the New York State’s Travel Advisory page here.
These travel guidelines require all New Yorkers, as well as visitors, to take personal responsibility for compliance in the best interest of public health and safety.
Since we take our responsibility very thoughtfully, we recognize that travel safety is our top priority.
In order to assure everyone’s safety, we are following the following guidelines and protocols:
Wearing masks are required in all common areas,
including the outside patio.
Please, wear masks in all public places, both within our house and in our community. Wearing a mask is required in order to enter The Amber Tree Inn.
Promotion of social distancing.
A distance of at least 6 feet is required between all guests (from different parties) and also from the innkeepers. Gatherings in Dining and Living Rooms are suspended until further notice.
Self-check-ins are encouraged.
We prefer all guests to make their reservations via this website. An email with arrival information will be sent to all guests 7 days prior to all arrivals. Guests will be met by the innkeeper upon arrival (keeping social distance) to answer any questions. All guests are encouraged to contact us prior to their stay with any concerns or questions. We are here to help!
Rotation of guest rooms between guests when possible.
Our rooms will be left vacant for 24-72 hours prior to or after cleaning, when possible.
Use of hand sanitizer (located throughout The Amber Tree Inn)
is recommended.
In keeping with responsible personal hygiene practices, hygiene materials such as tissues, hand sanitizer stations, and disinfecting wipes will be available throughout The Amber Tree Inn. We will reinforce personal hygiene (hand washing, cough etiquette) during all guests’ visits.
Removal of decorative items and unnecessary fabrics
from bedding and sitting areas.
Multi-use and other items and/or amenities will be removed from all guest rooms and common areas. We are eliminating most shared personal items (shampoo, conditioner & body wash) in bathrooms. The use of shared food and beverage equipment, including coffee/tea service, has been discontinued.
All surfaces cleaned and disinfected regularly with
hospital grade product.
Even though, the cleanliness of the Amber Tree Inn has always been one of our top priorities (see reviews), we have develop a stringent cleaning process to ensure all hard surfaces are cleaned more often. The use of commercial-grade eco-friendly disinfectants that meet EPA standards will be applied. All laundry will be washed with bleach products and hot water.
Refrain from staying at The Amber Tree Inn, if guests
have been sick recently.
By visiting our guest house, all guests and visitors voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. If any guest have, or recently had, any symptoms of COVID-19 or contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, we are asking them to stay home. The Amber Tree Inn cannot be used as an isolation place. Guests cannot quarantine in our facility.
